For the first stop of the global buyer invitation of 2025 Foshan Uniceramics Expo, we arrived in Indonesia.
Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia and an important source of overseas buyers for Foshan Uniceramics Expo. Currently, Indonesia's economy is in a stage of rapid development,with a GDP growth rate of over 5%, a huge population, and a thriving consumer market.
01 Appearing Brilliantly at Keramika Indonesia
From 9-12 May, Keramika Indonesia was held at the Jakarta Convention Center. As a special guest of Keramika Indonesia, Foshan Uniceramics Expo made a brilliant appearance at the exhibition and attracted numerous visitors, purchasers, and they are glad to visit the 2025 Foshan Uniceramics Expo.
In addition, ASAKI, organizer of Keramika Indonesia expressed their hope to further cooperation and share resources with Foshan Uniceramics Expo to achieve mutual benefit and common development.
02 Visiting Indonesian Ceramic Tile Market
We visited the ceramic tile market in Jakarta, Indonesia, and invite distributors and retailers to Foshan Uniceramics Expo.
At one of the high-end stores, Valentino Gress, we see that Chinese tiles are very popular locally. Among them, 600x600(mm) Chinese tiles are sold at IDR 138,000.00/square meter (USD 8.60/square meter), 600x1200(mm) Chinese tiles are sold at IDR 200,000.00/square meter (USD 12.47/square meter), slabs are sold at IDR 500,000.00/square meter (USD 31.18/square meter). In terms of local ceramic tiles, 600x600(mm) is approximately IDR 87,000.00/square meter (USD 5.43/square meter), and 600x1200(mm) is approximately IDR 130,000.00/square meter (USD 8.60/square meter).

The price of Chinese ceramic tiles is slightly higher, but the quality is good and the demand market is large. According to the President of Forum Suplier Bahan Bangunan Indonesia (FOSBBI), 170 million square meters of Chinese ceramic tiles are imported here every year.
The ceramic tile stores we saw in Jakarta, their display method is mainly stacking. One of the store owner told us that more and more people are accepting white body porcelain tiles now.
03 Inviting Local Ceramic Factories
We also visited local ceramic factories in Indonesia and invited them to come to the 2025 Foshan Uniceramics Expo to find new equipment and materials.
PT. Satyaraya Keramindo Indah (ROMAN CERAMICS) is a representative of high-end ceramic manufacturing in Indonesia, having the first SACMI slab production line in Asia, and the factory achieving zero emissions.
According to Mr. Tu, the General Manager of ROMAN CERAMICS, in Indonesia, more and more people are using the slabs, and the profits of the slabs are better.
It is worth mentioning that ROMAN CERAMICS is an old friend of Foshan Uniceramics Expo. At the recent 2024 exhibition, a delegation with 12 people came and met our exhibitors.
It is understood that more and more local ceramic factories in Indonesia need to produce porcelain, and their production lines must to be significantly renovated, which is an opportunity for upstream equipment and material enterprises in China.
