China-Bangladesh Ceramics Annual Conference 2026 Concludes with Resounding Success, Strengthening Bilateral Industry Ties

DHAKA, August 2026 — From 8 to 10 August, a Chinese delegation composed of leading ceramic technology and equipment suppliers visited Dhaka for a three-day mission focused on dialogue, collaboration, and market exploration. The trip was anchored by the China-Bangladesh Ceramics Annual Conference 2026 on the first day, followed by two days of factory visits.

Organized by Foshan Uniceramics Expo in collaboration with Bangladesh Ceramic Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BCMEA), the conference carried the theme "Empowering Technology, Winning Together." It drew a strong turnout of industry leaders, technical experts, and decision-makers from both countries.

A Market at an Inflection Point

Bangladesh's ceramic industry is growing rapidly, driven by urbanization and infrastructure development. Many leading manufacturers are expanding into new product categories and actively seeking Chinese technology and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Factory Visits: Learning from the Ground Up

Following the conference, the Chinese delegation—including representatives from DING DIAMOND TOOLS, JINMA LEADING, KARL, PERPETUAL, and VANTRON — spent two days visiting leading Bangladeshi manufacturers, including Akij Ceramics Ltd., Excellent Tiles Ind. Ltd., and Hua Thai Ceramics Industry Ltd. These companies brought with them high-quality technologies and advanced product solutions, offering practical and innovative answers to the challenges currently faced by the local ceramic industry.

A recurring theme across all visits was the urgent need for energy-saving solutions across production processes—raw material preparation, kiln operation, drying, and beyond, as rising natural gas costs put significant pressure on manufacturers. Chinese suppliers offering innovative, cost-effective solutions are well-positioned to partner with local factories.

Another key takeaway was the growing international demand for Bangladeshi tableware, which has sparked strong interest among local manufacturers in upgrading production capabilities, particularly in tableware machinery and technology, to capture more export opportunities.

Looking Ahead: Building a Sustainable Partnership

Throughout the trip, we extended invitations to our Bangladeshi partners to visit the 2027 Foshan Uniceramics Expo, scheduled for 19–22 April in Foshan. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Local manufacturers are eager to experience the latest product innovations and cutting-edge technologies.
